swissethics expresses deepest gratitude to Susanne Driessen exceptional leadership and dedication over the past decade as president of swissethics, and her unwavering commitment to ethical research, as she steps down from this role.

For more than ten years, Susanne Driessen has shaped swissethics with vision, integrity, and tireless commitment. Under her presidency, swissethics has developed into one of the leading organizations of human research in Switzerland. Her leadership has been marked by a constant pursuit of balanced and pragmatic solutions – solutions that placed the protection of the dignity, privacy and health of human beings involved in research at the centre, while enabling high-quality ethical and scientific research, and never lost sight of the interests of all parties involved in research.

Her thoughtful, respectful, and inclusive approach has earned her the appreciation and trust of colleagues and partners alike, both within swissethics and beyond the organization.

swissethics is very pleased that Susanne Driessen will continue be part of the organization in her role as president of EKOS and as a member of the executive board of swissethics.
